Plumbing estimating & takeoff services
Fixtures counted by type, piping measured by line size and material, with valves, carriers, hangers and insulation as their own lines.
What a plumbing package looks like.
Plumbing quantities live in two places: the fixture schedule and the riser diagram. Fixtures are counted by type with their carriers, trim and connections, then waste, vent, domestic hot and cold water and gas are measured run by run.
Pipe is never aggregated by total length. A 4" cast iron waste stack and a ½" copper branch are different money per foot in material, hanging and insulation, so each diameter and material carries its own line and its own labour rate.

Common questions on plumbing takeoffs.
Both, and they are reconciled. Where the plan count and the fixture schedule disagree, the discrepancy is reported in the assumptions rather than resolved silently.
Yes, with trenching, bedding, backfill and compaction stated as their own lines. Underground work priced at above-ground rates is one of the more expensive omissions in this trade.
Yes. UK plumbing packages are measured in metric with UK terminology and rates, delivered in GBP, and structured to suit your reporting format.
